House table
Breakfast under the lime trees
How the morning table moves with the weather, the garden, and the small rituals guests remember.
Breakfast at Payratons is intentionally unhurried. Coffee is served first, then orchard preserves, warm bread, salted butter, and whatever the kitchen has found at market the previous afternoon.
When the air is still, the table moves outside. Linen, shade, and birdsong do most of the work. Service stays close but quiet, with second coffee offered before the day begins to make claims.
Guests who leave early can request a smaller tray in the room. Those who stay late usually discover that breakfast has become the first event of the day rather than a pause before it.
